Hoho Action plus had the opportunity to be part and parcel of an awareness campaign that was organised by natural resources justice network. The campaign took place at Gogode in the area of Traditional Authority Chitantha mapiri in chimbiya area.The campaign aimed at letting people know the Dangers of illegal mining in reference to the accident that happened recently in the area and claimed lives of certain individuals. Illegal mining reduces the chances of making profits only if it was done the right way which involves processing the gold first before selling it thereby increasing its value.
